The brief for this design was to create a backyard space for 2 small children to play, incorporating food production and open areas for ball games.

The garden also needed to suit the modern architecture of the house and had to be able to evolve and adapt with the children so it was relevant for all ages.

The plant palette was chosen on the basis of scent, foliage textures, food/flower value, and hardiness to survive without future watering in sandy soils.
